Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning and preparing the surfaces where the tiles will be laid, ensuring they are level and free of debris
Accurately measuring and cutting tiles to the required dimensions, using suitable tools such as tile cutters
Placing tiles on the surface in an orderly and accurate manner, using levels to ensure a straight and even lay
Cleaning the tiles and the surrounding area after finishing the work
Adherence to workplace safety rules and protocols, using personal protective equipment as necessary
Reporting work progress and any issues that arise during project execution to the supervisor or project manager

Qualifications required
Previous experience in tiling or a similar construction field is preferred
Knowledge and skill in the use of construction tools and materials, such as tile cutters, levels and adhesive mixers
Ability to perform manual labor and work in a variety of positions, including bending, climbing and lifting heavy materials
Knowledge about different types of tiles and building materials and how to use them in different projects
Ability to perform work with high precision and great attention to detail to ensure a quality result
Knowledge and implementation of safety rules in the workplace to minimize the risk of accidents
